Self-care isn’t one-size-fits-all because not everyone has the same wants and needs. This also changes as you age or your life circumstances change. Astrology is one way to learn more about yourself and incorporate practices and behaviours for your well-being. In this article, we will refer to this process as self-care.
You may be surprised by what you find here. Or you may already do some of the listed self-care activities. To get a more accurate picture of which self-care tips will work for you, make sure to check out your Sun, Moon, and Venus signs.
Aries
This fiery star sign is usually in two moods. Either very chilled and unbothered or just an overall energy bunny. Aries get easily frustrated, so the first self-care tip that I have for this sign is to incorporate breathing techniques into their daily routine.
My self-care tip for Aries is to do an activity that they can do alone.
This isn't unfamiliar to Aries. They are the signs that represent individuality and the self. So, they are naturally independent and can easily be entertained on their own or around others.
Whichever self-care activity Aries decides to do, it should be an activity that pushes their capabilities. This can be a passion project, a hobby, or a physical activity. This gives the energetic and passionate Aries a sense of satisfaction and makes productive use of their energy.

Taurus
This is the sign that I love to describe as the lover of the zodiac. The one who truly embodies the aesthetic of what a steady and stable lover should feel like.
Taurus represents material wealth and what brings you comfort. Believe it or not, this might be the sleepiest sign. In some cases, they are more sleepy than Pisces.
Describing the best self-care tips for Taurus is simple because it can be anything. Since Taurus is associated with comfort in astrology, this sign, unlike the others, mindlessly creates solid self-care practices, as one would expect.
For example, a Taurus with strong Mars or Mars influences in their birth chart may find that being physically active is self-care by joining a competitive sport.
Or a Taurus with a strong Mercury influence may find that mental challenges are a way to de-stress. Something as simple as Sudoku, catching up with loved ones, watching documentaries, or even writing.
The most important thing for Taurus when it comes to self-care is that they should not skip it, as this can frustrate the bull.

Geminis are the sign that describes duality and everything in between. This means that although this sign is compared to the imagery of twins, their thought process is not limited to binaries.
Geminis are constantly dissecting their world and finding different ways of depicting truth. To some, this is mentally straining, but this is not the case for this sign.
Taking time away to go on writing retreats, for example, is a great self-care tip for this cerebral zodiac sign.

Leo
Leos are the stars of the zodiac. Being ruled by the sun makes them the centre of attention in any room. Leos represent creative self-expression, so a practice that allows them to hone in on their creative pursuits or allows them to be the star of the show will greatly help decompress and rejuvenate this sign.

My best self-care tip for Virgos is to journal their everyday lives. The journaling process itself does not have to be emotional or deeply moving for every entry. However, journaling, even on the most mundane day, is an excellent way to unload. This also helps to relax overthinking tendencies, which this sign is prone to.
Virgos are known to be overthinkers, and with their ruling planet Mercury, they need somewhere to unload their thoughts and feelings.
Virgos are also helpful people and are popularly known for going above and beyond for others. So making sure that they schedule a time for themselves will help avoid burnout. Clearing their physical space and learning something new can be beneficial.

Libras are ruled by Venus, the planet of love, aesthetics, beauty, enjoyment, and justice. However, there is more to this sign than their beauty, social life, and amazing fashion sense. Libras also detest injustices and are great mediators of conflict.
Being the middle man in a lot of social interactions can be exhausting, especially for the Libras who have yet to affirm strong boundaries in their relationships. My self-care tip for these Libras is to spend some time at home or in familiar and beautiful surroundings.
A lot of Libras can relate to the fact that they feel that they are managing their relationships. This can be draining, so short periods of isolation can be beneficial. Especially if this is done in beautiful surroundings.
Beautifying your surroundings is also another great way to practice self-care.
Libras are a highly social sign, so they love spending time with their loved ones. If you are a Libra and are confident in your boundaries, then this can also be a great self-care practice.

Scorpio
The oh-so-profound Scorpio would benefit from adding journaling to their routine. Due to Scorpios tending to keep a lot of their deeper thoughts to themselves, it would be good for them to have somewhere that feels safe for them to unload.
Scorpios tend to isolate themselves as a way to recharge. This is good, but Scorpios should avoid spending long periods alone as it may cause further mental discomfort.
Instead, my self-care tip is to balance their time alone and with others. Another tip is to listen to music with others and to be involved in organizations or social scenes that are meaningful to them. Such as joining a band if they are into music or a community group such as a book club.

Endurance sports such as marathons or triathlons
Gaming
Sagittarius
Sagittarius are natural leaders with a generous spirit. They can also be considered the clowns of friendship groups, as they always know how to make others laugh. However, this can also mean that they do not get the opportunity to open up to others emotionally.
To mitigate this, it is a must for them to free up time for themselves and to do this intentionally. This can also look like booking a time with their closest and most dedicated friends and openly sharing their highs and lows with them.
Due to their humorous and playful nature, Sagittarius can downplay how they feel. But if they’re not careful, it can negatively affect other parts of their lives by keeping things unresolved. Meditating and spending some time alone to reflect may help in this circumstance.
Other self-care tips that I have are for Saggitarius to indulge themselves in their spiritual practice, read, meditate, and even learn a new language. Travelling is an excellent self-care option for this fire sign.

Capricorn
Other than Taurus, I would say that Capricorns are another sign with the most consistent energy output. This is a hardworking sign, always full of responsibilities, with usually more than one person in their life that they are taking care of.
They are either always taking care of others emotionally, financially, or physically. Thus, this has to be the most difficult sign for me to address in this article.
Some Capricorns may dispute me and say that working hard and being responsible is self-care. That may be true, but if you are a Capricorn, ask yourself: When was the last time you did something solely for enjoyment and not for a long-term goal of yours?
My number one self-care tip for Capricorns is to clear their schedule when possible. This should look like a full day where Capricorns simply indulge in activities that help them relax.
I sympathize with the busyness of their lives, so my other tip would be to create a daily routine that allows for rest. This is just in case you, as a Capricorn, do not want to feel the guilt of taking a full day for yourself.
It is good to work hard toward your goals, but it is also fulfilling to have a passionate hobby that keeps you inspired toward your ambitions.

Aquarius
The free-spirited, tech-savvy, and future-oriented Aquarius would highly benefit from delving deeper into their unconventional artistic qualities. Aquarius stands out in any crowd for their future-oriented and humanitarian views or their unconventional style. Finding a tribe that appreciates and can relate to their unconventionality is my ultimate self-care tip for the Aquarius zodiac sign.
Keeping a journal and constantly updating it would highly benefit them. This sign can journal however they see fit and does not have to include written entries. There could be a range of images, such as memes, to keep this activity playful and unique to them.

Pisces must get into hermit mode from time to time. This is a sign that I like to compare to a sponge. Pisces inadvertently absorb other people’s emotions, and if they do not practice grounding techniques or have firm boundaries, they easily become drained.
A fun way for Pisces to get rid of unwanted energy in their body is to get their body moving. Such as dancing for 10–15 minutes each day as you play your favourite song, journal, exercise, or even escape from time to time in a good film.
Pisces have an expansive imagination and are great musicians and storytellers. Releasing this onto reality positively affects their well-being and allows them to materialise their feelings.
